On Monday with the promise of warm weather and not a cloud in the sky we headed out to
Pedernales Falls State Park. The
park had a lot to offer, from hiking to swimming and camping. Our first stop was the Beach Area for a quick swim in the river.
The lizards are everywhere and Olaf and Sven were convinced they could catch one. Lucky for the lizard, neither dog is great at catching much more than a nap in the shade.
Up next a quick hike down to the falls.
Without a lot of rain in the recent past the falls are more big ponds than anything else. Very pretty to look at and the rock formations are really different from CO so we enjoyed exploring.
For dinner an excellent BBQ dinner from a local food truck!
