Trip: Denver to Canyon, TX

The trip to Canyon started out with snow covering the truck, and a landscape that was white, grey and beige as far as the eye could see.  It was hard for the kids to picture living somewhere like Eastern CO.

We saw hundreds and hundreds of windmill farms.  There is no way to display the enormity of the windmill farms through the lens of an iphone camera.  

We finally made it to Canyon, TX where we visited the countries second largest canyon. Palo Duro Canyon State park was impressive and we all agreed the Boulder Garden hike was the perfect way to end our first day of travel.
