Summer 2023 The Big Trip! - Day 2

Location: Driving Day to Yellowstone

Weather: 60's and sunny

We got up early so we could get on our way, but before we did we took some time to walk the dogs and play on the side of the lake.

We spent half of day 2 driving to Yellowstone.  After a quick stop in Cody, where Olaf managed to roll in poop and get a wet wipe bath we were back on the road to Yellowstone.  The drive was gorgeous, filled with mountains, wide meadows, deep red rocks, a canyon, neat rock formations and rivers.

On our drive in we saw 2 bears on the side of the road. We were told their names were June and Raspberry when we checked in.  

After a quick stop at our campground to get set up we made our way up to Mud Volcano for a look at the mud pots and geysers at Mud Volcano.
